It is believed that "If I Was Your Girlfriend" deals with the jealousy Prince felt at the close bond shared between then girlfriend Susannah Melvoin with Wendy Melvoin. If was the director my vision would have been different, i would have done something more intimate like Cee-Lo and the leading lady and a dim setting flashing back to scenes in the bedroom etc. But props to Mikael Colombu for his job well done. And if that is really Janelle Monáe's cleavage, guurrl why you be hiding that?
