Miss Keri Lynn Hilson was born October 27, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia. You would have first heard her on Xzibit's track "Hey Now (Mean Muggin)" back in 2004, but she has actually been writing for other artists since 2001. She has written songs for numerous artists, an impressive list which consists of Britney Spears "Gimme More", The Pussycat Dolls "Wait A Minute", Ludacris "Runaway Love" and Diddy "After Love" just to name a few. Back in 2006 she signed to Timbaland's Label Mosley Music Group and she has been hard at work for her debut album "In A Perfect World..."
In 2007 she really stepped into the public eye (and ear) when she was featured on Timbaland's smash hit "The Way I Are". More recently she has made cameos in music videos including Usher's "Love In This Club" and Nelly's "Party People". Now she is releasing her first single "Energy" and is featured on Nas' hot new single "Hero". Check her out and keep an eye on this upcoming (or by her credits already established) artist.
